This guide explains how to use the Analytics settings within the Domain Configuration to integrate your notifications with external tracking platforms.

Understanding Analytics Integrations#

The Analytics tab allows you to forward notification event data directly to your preferred analytics platforms. This integration provides deeper insights into how visitors interact with your social proof and how these nudges influence your overall conversion funnel.

Supported Analytics Platforms#

You can enable tracking for the following major platforms by checking their respective boxes in the Analytics Platforms section:
Google Analytics: Send notification event data directly to your connected GA4 property.
Google Tag Manager: Push nudge events to your GTM data layer for advanced custom tracking.
Mixpanel: Track specific user engagement with notifications within your Mixpanel projects.
Meta Pixel: Forward event data to your Facebook Pixel to optimize ad retargeting based on nudge interactions.

Why Use Analytics Integrations?#

1. Data-Driven Optimization#

By seeing which nudges are clicked or viewed most frequently in your primary analytics dashboard, you can identify which types of social proof (e.g., "Recent Sales" vs. "Reviews") resonate most with your audience.

2. Measuring Conversion Lift#

Integrating with tools like Google Analytics allows you to see if users who interact with a nudge are more likely to complete a purchase or sign up compared to those who do not, helping you calculate the direct ROI of your social proof strategy.

3. Enhanced Retargeting#

Forwarding data to the Meta Pixel allows you to build custom audiences based on specific nudge interactions, enabling you to show highly relevant ads to users who showed interest in a "Limited Time Offer" timer or a specific product announcement.

Enable Google Tag Manager integration if you want to create custom triggers for your nudges. For example, you could set up a tag that only fires a "high-interest" event if a user interacts with three or more different notifications during a single session.
