How to Connect TraceNudges with SurveyGizmo

This guide will walk you through capturing real-time survey responses and feedback from SurveyGizmo and displaying them as social proof nudges on your website using TraceNudges.

Add Webhook Integration to Connect SurveyGizmo

Follow these steps to pull lead and event data from your surveys.

Step 1: Get the Webhook URL from TraceNudges

Navigate to the Integrations tab and find SurveyGizmo.

Click on the Integrate button.

Enter a Connection Name (e.g., "Customer Feedback Survey").

Click the Create button.

A unique Webhook URL will be generated. Click the Copy button to save it to your clipboard.

Step 2: Configure Webhook in SurveyGizmo

Scroll to the bottom of any page in your survey builder and click the Action button.

Select Integrations > Webhook and click the Add button.

Enter a Name for your webhook (e.g., "TraceNudges Integration").

Select POST as the Method.

Paste the Webhook URL you copied from TraceNudges into the URL field.

Select Post custom fields.

Select the survey Question from the dropdown, click Add Field, and assign a Variable Name in the text box. Use the following mapping for best results:

First Name: fn

Last Name: ln

Email Address: e

City: ct

State: st

Country: cn

Click the Save Action button to finalize.

Step 3: Test and Verify

Submit a test response to your survey.

Visit the TraceNudges Dashboard > Data Log page.

You should see the captured data appearing with "SurveyGizmo" as the source.

Note: Ensure you select this integration as a data source for your specific nudges (Go to Customize Nudge > Data Source > Select your SurveyGizmo integration).

Important: After completing the setup, check your website in a private/incognito browser window to ensure the nudges are displaying correctly without cache interference.
