How to connect Tracenudges with GetGist?

This guide will walk you through:

Capturing Lead Activities: Connect GetGist with Tracenudges using a webhook to fetch real-time lead and customer activity data.

Add Webhook Integration to Connect GetGist

Step 1: Get the Webhook URL from Tracenudges

Go to Tracenudges > Integrations.

Search for GetGist and click on the Integrate button inside the integration box.

Enter a Remark or Name for the connection.

Leave this popup open for now.

Retrieve API Key from GetGist:

Navigate to Settings > API & Integrations > API Key.

Copy the API Key.

Finish Setup in Tracenudges:

Paste the API Key into the Tracenudges GetGist popup.

Click the Create button.

Tracenudges will generate a Webhook URL. Click the Copy button.

Step 2: Configure Webhook in GetGist

Return to your GetGist dashboard (Settings).

Navigate to API & Integrations > Webhooks.

Click on the New Webhook button.

Webhook URL: Paste the URL you copied from Tracenudges.

Event: Select User-Created (or the specific event you want to track).

Click on the Save button.

Historical Data:
The last 30 entries from the API key will be fetched automatically once you provide the correct details. This enables you to start displaying existing data in the notifications immediately.

Done.

Please test by creating a new user or lead in GetGist and visiting the Tracenudges – Dashboard Data page. Here, you can see all the captured/received data with its source name.

Note:
Make sure you select this integration as the data source for your notification (Go to Customize Notification > Data-source and select this integration).

Important:
After making changes, check your notification in a private/incognito browser window to avoid cache issues.
