SamCart Integration with TraceNudges

This guide will walk you through:

Displaying Nudges: Add the TraceNudges pixel code to your SamCart checkout pages.

Capturing Sales Activities: Connect SamCart with TraceNudges using a webhook to fetch real-time sales data.

1. Install TraceNudges Pixel Code to SamCart Pages

Step 1: Get your TraceNudges Pixel Code

Navigate to the Install Pixel page.

Copy your unique Pixel Code.

Step 2: Add the Pixel Code to SamCart

Click on the Settings icon.

Locate the Embed HTML/Scripts section.

Paste the TraceNudges Pixel code into the Header box.

Click on the Save Changes button.

Step 3: Verify Installation

Go back to your TraceNudges pixel page.

Click on Verify Pixel Installation to check if the pixel is active.

If installed correctly, you will see a “Pixel Active” success message.

2. Add Webhook to SamCart to Receive Sales Data

Step 1: Get the Webhook URL from TraceNudges

Go to TraceNudges > Integrations.

Find SamCart and click the Integrate button.

Enter a Connection Name (e.g., "SamCart Main Store").

Click Create and then click the Copy button for the Webhook URL.

Step 2: Configure Webhook in SamCart

Click on New Integration.

Select the Notify URL option from the dropdown menu and click Next Step.

Enter a Name for this integration.

Paste the copied TraceNudges Webhook URL into the Notify URL box.

Click on the Save Integration button.

Step 3: Set Up the Integration Rule

In SamCart, go to the Global Rules tab.

Click on the New Rule button.

Select the Order Completed option from the dropdown and click Next Step.

Select your Integration Name (created in the previous step).

Select the Send Notify URL POST action.

Click on Next Step, then click Submit.

Step 4: Verify and Launch

Perform a test purchase on your SamCart page.

Visit the TraceNudges Dashboard > Data Log page to verify that the sales data has been captured.

Note: Ensure you select this integration as the data source for your nudges (Go to Customize Nudge > Data Source > Select this SamCart integration).

Important: After making changes, check your nudges in a private/incognito browser window to ensure they are displaying correctly.
