How to Enable Single Visits Nudge in TraceNudges#
Single Visits notifications show when an individual visitor from a specific location views your page. This creates a sense of an active, bustling website, encouraging new visitors to explore your content and take action.Step 1: Create a New Single Visits Notification#

Log in to your TraceNudges Dashboard.

Go to the Visitors & Engagement tab under the Nudges Library.

Locate the Single Visits card and click + Add.
Step 2: Select a Design Template#
Choose a design style that matches your website's look and feel. You can always change or further customize this design later if needed.
Click Continue when you are ready.
Step 3: Customize the Notification Layout#
Edit the notification content based on the selected layout. If no customization is done, the default layout (showing a message like "A visitor from [Location] visited this page") will be applied automatically.
Step 4: Add Website URL#

Enter a Nudge Name (e.g., "Single Visitor Activity") for your internal reference.

Enter the Target Websites URL where you want the notification to appear. You can add:
Multiple website URLs to track activity across sites
Step 5: Save and Customize#
Click Create & Configure to save your notification. This opens the advanced customization settings.
Design & Content Customization#
You can modify the notification text and format anytime by navigating to: Configuration → Design → Text Editor.
Here, you can:Edit message content (e.g., changing "visited this page" to "is viewing our collection")
Change text formatting and colors
Adjust the notification's appearance and map/location icon settings
Click Action Settings#
You can define what happens when a visitor clicks the notification:Redirect them to a popular product or landing page
Disable the click action if not required
Notification Controls#
Additional options include:Enable or disable the Verified label
Show or hide the Close (X) icon
Control the clickable behavior of the notification
Data & Timing Settings#
TraceNudges allows you to fine-tune when these notifications appear:Cycle through multiple recent individual visits
Skip notifications already seen by the visitor
Set an initial delay time before the first notification appears
Control visibility duration (how long it stays on screen) and lapse time (delay between different visitor popups)
Display Rules#
Use the Display tab to control exactly where the notifications appear. You can choose to show them globally across your site, or restrict them to specific pages (like your product catalog or homepage).
Step 6: Finish Setup#
After completing all of your customizations, click Finish to complete the setup process.
Step 7: Activate Single Visits Notification#
Click Yes, Turn It ON. Your Single Visits notification will now start showing real-time individual visitor activity based on your settings.
