How to connect Tracenudges with SendGrid?

This guide will walk you through:

Capturing Lead Activities: Connect SendGrid with Tracenudges using a webhook to fetch real-time subscriber and email event data.

Add Webhook Integration to Connect SendGrid

Step 1: Get the Webhook URL from Tracenudges

Go to Tracenudges > Integrations.

Search for SendGrid and click on the Integrate button inside the integration box.

Enter a Connection Name (e.g., "SendGrid Leads").

Click on the Create button.

Tracenudges will generate a Webhook URL. Click the Copy button.

Step 2: Configure Webhook in SendGrid

In the sidebar menu, navigate to Settings > Mail Settings.

Scroll down to Event Settings and find Event Webhook.

Click Edit (or click on the setting to expand it).

Authentication Method: Select None.

HTTP Post URL: Paste the Webhook URL you copied from Tracenudges.

Events to Track: Select Delivered (or any other events you wish to track like "Opens" or "Clicks").

Event Webhook Status: Switch the toggle to Enabled.

Click on the Save button.

Historical Data:
Once connected, Tracenudges will start receiving real-time data.

Done.

Please test by sending a test email or simulating an event in SendGrid and visiting the Tracenudges – Dashboard Data page. Here, you can see all the captured/received data with its source name.

Note:
Make sure you select this integration as the data source for your nudges (Go to Customize Nudges > Data-source and select this integration).

Important:
After making changes, check your nudges in a private/incognito browser window to avoid cache issues.
