How to connect Tracenudges with SurveySparrow?

This guide will walk you through:

Capturing Survey Submissions: Connect SurveySparrow with Tracenudges using a webhook to fetch real-time survey responses and engagement data.

Add Webhook Integration to Connect SurveySparrow

Step 1: Get the Webhook URL from Tracenudges

Go to Tracenudges > Integrations.

Search for SurveySparrow and click on the Integrate button inside the integration box.

Enter your Connection Name.

Click on the Create button.

Tracenudges will generate a Webhook URL. Click the Copy button.

Step 2: Configure Webhook in SurveySparrow

Edit the survey you want to track.

Click on the Integrate tab at the top.

Select the Webhooks option from the sidebar and click the Add Webhook button.

Name: Enter a name for the webhook (e.g., "Tracenudges").

Description: Optional.

Callback URL: Paste the Webhook URL you copied from Tracenudges in Step 1.

Request Type: Select POST.

Status: Toggle the switch to Active.

JSON Content: Copy and paste the following JSON structure into the content field. Important: You must replace the {question_id} placeholders with the actual variable tags from your specific survey questions (use the variable selector in SurveySparrow to find them).

(Note: Map "n" to Name, "e" to Email, "ct" to City, etc., using your survey's specific question variables)

Click the Save Details button.

Historical Data:
Once connected, Tracenudges will start receiving real-time data from your survey submissions.

Done.

Please test by submitting a response to your survey and visiting the Tracenudges – Dashboard Data page. Here, you can see all the captured/received data with its source name.

Note:
Make sure you select this integration as the data source for the nudges (Customize Nudges > Data-source > Select this integration).

Important:
After making changes, check your nudges in a private/incognito browser window to avoid cache issues.
