How to Enable Channel Subscriber Nudge in TraceNudges#
The Channel Subscriber notification displays your YouTube subscriber count and channel statistics. This is a powerful way to build authority and encourage your website visitors to subscribe to your channel directly from your website.Step 1: Create a New Channel Subscriber Notification#

Log in to your TraceNudges Dashboard.

Go to the Social Media & Video tab under the Nudges Library.
3.
Locate the Channel Subscriber card and click + Add.
Step 2: Select a Design Template#
Choose a design style that matches your website's branding. You can change or customize the design later if needed.
Click Continue when you are ready.
Step 3: Customize the Notification Layout#
Edit the notification content based on the selected layout. If no customization is done, the default layout (showing a message like "Subscribe to Tracenudges on YouTube," alongside your subscriber count, views, and likes) will be applied automatically.
Step 4: Add Website URL#

Enter a Nudge Name (e.g., "YouTube Sub Growth") for your internal reference.

Enter the website URL where the notification should appear. You can add:
Multiple website URLs to track stats across sites
Step 5: Save and Customize#
Click Create & Configure to save your notification. This opens advanced customization settings.
Design & Content Customization#
You can modify notification text and format anytime by navigating to: Configuration → Design → Text Editor.
Here, you can:Edit message content: Change the channel name, update your subscriber numbers, or adjust the video stats shown.
Change text formatting: Adjust fonts and button styles.
Adjust notification appearance: Change background colors and the YouTube icon settings.
Click Action Settings#
You can define what happens when a visitor clicks the notification:Redirect to your YouTube channel URL or a specific subscribe link
Disable click action if not required
Notification Controls#
Additional options include:Enable or disable the Verified label
Show or hide the Close (X) icon
Control clickable behavior of the notification
Data & Timing Settings#
TraceNudges allows you to fine-tune when notifications appear:Skip notifications already seen by visitors
Set initial delay time before notification appears
Control visibility duration and lapse time
Display Rules#
Use the Display tab to control where notifications appear. You can choose to show notifications on specific pages or URLs only.
Step 6: Finish Setup#
After completing all customization, click Finish to complete the setup.
Step 7: Activate Channel Subscriber Notification#
Click Yes, Turn It ON. Your Channel Subscriber notification will now start showing your YouTube stats based on your settings.
